I guess this is my final step,,,, acquiring the correct fuel line and or fittings etc to make up. I'm wondering now if that Dorman kit fuel line set (800-063) I purchased will work, its coming today (the last photo below). It doesn't look close to the fitting on the Ranger, more like this first image below.

Evil Energy makes this thread fitting which looks like it will work, but the question is will this fitting shown in the photo below interface/connect with the PTFE line, in which I would have to make up myself? I believe they have 5/16 also.

This is the original fuel line with elbow fitting on the fuel pressure regulator.

The Dorman Kit 800-063 I purchased. This kit is questionable.

I'm pretty sure that Dorman kit is fittings that should fit the fuel pump and or filter. Not at the engine.

AFAIK nobody makes the fitting at the engine. The ones on the other side of the braided line are available IIRC.
