Front Fuel Leak 1993 Ranger 4.0 XLT Auto

I may go to the depot and get some bendable band iron or a nice little piece of more sturdier moldable metal.

I've successfully used shim stock before.

You should be able to find it in small sheets, in varying thicknesses, so that you can pick the one or two thicknesses that you think will work best to roll up.

Sorry for starting such a humongous thread here. I think I am almost at the finish line hopefully. 🫪 I'm trying to find out the correct thread size on the fuel pressure regulator fitting so I can purchase a new 6an fitting to run new lines. In what I'm reading It's either 14mx1.5 or 16mx1.5. I'm wondering if I can just measure the thread size that's on this old fitting (photo below). Or I can just purchase two bolts at 14m or 16m and see if it fits.. Does anyone know the correct thread size in this fitting.
