Ford recalls 700,000 vehicles Ranger included

Whenever I back up in a crowded parking lot I just roll down the window and start screaming "IM A DRUNK KOREAN LADY ON A CELL PHONE!!!".

Works better than any backup camera or backup alarm. People just magically move out of your way like moses parting the sea.

Too late. I've already submitted the idea to the DOT and the NHTSA.
If they wanted to mandate something worthwhile why not breathalyzer igniton interlocks, and a cell phone jammer that shuts the signal off to your phone anytime youre in gear.

Makes it real easy to hook up to a trailer.
True. I've had three on my Sport Trac but none of them lasted a year in wet PA weather so I gave up on them. Same with the Line Of Fire lights.

No. I get navigation through my phone. Google is free as opposed to vehicle nav systems or Garmin, etc. where you have to pay for map updates.

Dont google maps offer offline service now though?

I didnt mean kill your phone totally....just the service to it

I think they have offline maps. Pretty hard to do offline traffic updates.

Go ahead. Block my phone service. I’ll figure out how to hack the stupid nanny system.

We don’t need more laws or more nannies. We need to start recovering lost freedoms and get rid of all this stupid government interference in our lives.

I agree 100% But we could trade alot of nannies if we could keep people off the phone while driving....thats why 95% of them exist.

I never understood the trouble people have hooking up a trailer. Just line the middle of the trailer (i usually use the jack as a refrence point) with the bolts that hold the tailgate handle on. Back up till you feel a bump then roll forward about 2 inches.

Ill hit it dead nuts 9/10 times like that.

Three different trucks and three different trailers make that sort of method a little more complicated. I’m actually better at getting positioned right hooking the big trailer to the dump truck than the little trailer to the Ranger. It can be done and I’m usually pretty good with it, but a backup camera takes all the guesswork out

That rear view camera works great at 1am when youre hooking up trailer with the heads lights off so they aren’t shining into your neighbors bedroom window.

What’s up with you guys? Hooking up trailer in traffic? Hooking up trailer at 1am? Next you’ll be hooking up the trailer in traffic at 1am in a hail storm.

There’s less traffic at 1am.

totally off-topic, but why cant they have the power windows on the same circuit as the power locks?-LIVE- at all times, you hop in with some food & (try) to eat then the garbage bees want to come in, you cant just hit the switch & roll up the window, and the keys are still in your pocket that you cant get to, and you have a hot carry-out order of bourbon chicken . ( yes, its the escape I was out in today, not only does the key for the ranger never come out of the ignition, its manual windows anyhow)
I had a astro van years ago that a previous owner had a issue with the relay for the power windows, so he bridged the power feed from the power lock relay and it then had “live” power windows! Best thing ever, say it would start to rain, just run out & hit the switch, no problem!, no looking for keys, no need to mess with the ignition if you’re parked and want to roll down a window. I dont get the logic on having to need the key on to operate a power window.
