I've got some good leaks at each connection through my exhaust and I'm looking to close them up.

The AP/Eastern and Walker diagrams on Rock Auto are helpful for two of my leaks and needed gaskets. #1 and #2 below.

Except I can't tell if #3 below has a gasket. This would be were each end of the front cat Y-pipe mate up to each exhaust manifold.

Anybody know if there are two gaskets there at #3?

I have never worked on your particular setup. But most any newer vehicle I have worked on, do not use gaskets there. It's metal to metal, it sort of looks like two huge brake line flares. The exhaust manifolds have large tapered areas that accept the flared pipe.

If you want to go to rockauto and look up the exhaust manifolds, you can see if they have this large cone area that does not take a gasket.

good luck with numbers 2 & 1, rust will be your enemy there.
or at least it sure as hell is in the rust belt areas.

Yes, ford used studs sometimes. They break off. So I end up grinding it flat, and then drilling it out and using bolts and nuts. It's a lot of fun.........not.

Good idea. You're right. Metal to metal, no gasket. Thanks for the tip!
