Use your teeth, chew the peices off.

I wish I had a torch to cut with but the best I have is a chop saw for making straight cuts but it is better then nothing I will say...plus I got it for free.

Three hours later the pic finally uploaded.

Well, had to make two modifications to the bracket to get the ac pump to mount. Hopefully I can make it work cause I am running out of time and money.

Did some research and found out I cant rum 15" wheels with wj knuckles and calipers. So....I went back out to the garage and sat looking at the front of my truck for an hour or so drank a few beers and then started searching Google images, this is what I found that is very close to what I might do now.

Actually many people run WJ knuckles and 15" rims. A lot of the info saying it is not possible stems from people trying to use OEM jeep 15"s or aftermarket aluminum rims (which are both thicker and leave less room than a similar steel wheel) and doing the WJ swap. Steel rims with the right amount of backspacing should fit fine. I have 15" steel rims with 3.75" of backspacing and I got the wj knuckles/offset TREs/Akebono calipers to clear just fine.

Oh? What the hell? People over on jeepforum.com kept saying it won't work.

An almost simple solution...put up your rim or one just like it up to a WJ setup or just take careful measurements of a WJ setup.

The more I think about it, the more I just want to keep what I have and make the steering like above pic. Would be cheaper since I am always broke.

I say just keep it simple.

^...and I bet everyone who told you that knows from personal experience, lol.....They must be passing on 'well documented internet facts'.

The steering in that picture you posted looks pretty simple and stout.

Here is my setup on 15"s:

Looks like there is plenty of room.
