i like this setup, i may have to copy that as well

It's close but it clears the caliper and TREs by ~ 0.125", also clears the balancing weights inside the rim.

Maybe I won't completely scrap the idea of knuckle swap, ill just put it on the side burner and grab parts when get money.

Gonna be finishing up on my brother's Yota Thursday. Gotta finish his for the Bundy Hill trip while I wait for steering parts. Going with 3/4" rod ends

I've been sitting in front of my truck in the garage for the last hour trying to decide on over the knuckle or under. Under I won't have to change the sway bar links or trim the coil mounts on the axle, but the tie rod will be more likely to get bent by rocks. Over will leave plenty of ground clearance but will require more work.

Another thing I want to do is make a tab on the knuckle to make the rod ends at double shear. So, if they are under, I will have more area to weld to. If over it will have to stay single shear.

:banghead::confused:

Single shear 3/4" grade 8 will outlast the knuckle.lol. Since no missalignments are needed at the knuckle the there isn't much leverage on the bolt.

I only put my pitman in double shear because the missalignments required such a long bolt.

I think you will be fine with under mount. You have been good with what you have so far and your only making a stronger setup now.

Thanks guys.

Now I am trying to decide if I should run the draglink to the top of the passenger knuckle or tie it on top of the tube like the above picture. I'm thinking if I run it to the knuckle I will be able to keep my tracbar up high enough tooumt the ram. I am planning on mounting the ram below the passenger side coil, right where the stock tracbar mounts.

I thought mine was all good. I ran the drag link on top of my pitman arm. Pull out of the garage and couldnt go left... Doh!

I want to do some upgrades on mine too. But right now it works. It works, so I am not going to touch it lol.

I do need to double shear my pitman arm though...
