Came from a 92 XJ. It has the larger ujoints and is mainly a daily driver. So as long as I don't start adding weight to the truck and not beat the crap out of it offroad then it will be ok. The weakest part or the d30 is the inner c's. They will actually bend with to much weight on it.

I am looking for a different pitman arm. One that has a shorter drop than the 3" drop that I have. I think I need a 2" drop to help with the small amount of bumpsteer that I have. It's not bad but during windy driving conditions, which it is always windy here, but is annoying. This pic is from the 89 but it is still the same setup on this truck....

A smaller arm should make the trakbar and draglink parallel

what pitman arm do you have? my roughcountry drop pitman for a 4" lift only lowers it by maybe 2" and i need more of a drop. that definatly looks like more of a drop than mine.

I bought it used about 6 or 7 years ago and don't remember what it is. I measured from the bottom in both ends. That is how I came up with 3" drop.

I am not aware of a 3" drop arm, they only come in 2" and 4" as far as I know. Who knows though, there are always exceptions.

Yes. A flat pitman arm is 0" and that is measured at the bottom. So my pitman arm is a 3" drop measuring where the draglink mounts it drops down 3"....
