Engine swap ABS and airbag modules

1998 ford ranger supercab 3.0 v6, swap to diesel om617 and not using Ford transmission . I'm keep frame of the truck stock expect motor mounts .

DOES anyone know If I remove the ECU. Will the abs and airbag modules work without it?
