My credo
Make it fast, Make it loud.
So it will sit and idle fine then stumble and doesn't seem to want catch its self, if you rev it up it usually goes away, but always comes back I'm thinking idle air control valve what do you guys think?

Also my clutch feels stiff but doesn't disengage fully, when I got it there was no brake fluid in the master res. It worked great before I added fluid now the petal feels more stiff (harder to push then my v8 mustang with a cable clutch) but now it won't go into gear anymore. I've bled the clutch but its more difficult then any I've done before, by the way it's a 91 2.3 2wd

The slave cylinder probably seized up, the pedal got harder after you got the air out of the system, time for a new slave cylinder.

there's a cartridge filter on the frame rail between the tank and the fuel pump. it's like $8 but is a PITA to take the housing off. I changed mine and it's running better. also check your ECT (engine coolant temperature) located on the intake near the water jacket. I think mine is going.
