Eec relay

Anybody know the gauge of wires used on the eec relay and fuel pump relay? Somebody redid the wiring on the truck and put all 18 gauge wire in it.

The EEC power relay and the fuel pump relay both are fed with 20 gauge fusible links. The common practice is to install a fusible link 4 times smaller than the circuit gauge wire. If you go by this rule, the circuits would have 12 gauge wire.

min 14 in a short reg cab, single pump.

but 12 or 10 is ideal.

Aren't they 60 amp relays?

Also, 12 ga sounds about right.
