Hi, this weekend i installed my 2 inch block on my front suspension but when i dropped the truck .... surprise extreme positive camber. I was almost sure to get this result since i have TTB and no drop kit for them ( like real suspension lift does ) my question is i just order 2 Mevotech MK8986 Alignment Caster Kit Is that gonna be enough to get my wheel back straight

how did you lower a TIB with a 2" block?
I'm not a veteran with dropping trucks... so I'm a little confused.

I'm going to say you'd need the extreme degree bushings but at 2", you almost need different axle pivot brackets to line everything back up. I know with 2" of lift you need drop brackets for the pivots so with 2" of drop, I'd guess you need shorter pivot brackets.

Or get dream beams...

oh sorry maybe i've not been clear but i LIFTED my truck 2 inch

when i mean dropped my truck i mean dropped my truck out of the mecanic lift :icon_twisted:

ohhhh...

you need longer pivot brackets for 2" of lift...
1.5" and up (in my experience) needs new brackets. You should be able to find 2" brackets out there... maybe the STX Highriders? Idk..

where can i buy that ? normally it come with a full suspension lift kit you sure i can buy this alone ?

Rough country will sell you just the brackets I believe. I have a driver side drop plate if you need it.

but a 4" bracket for a 2" lift?
that's a little much.

if you want, call RC in Dyersburg TN.. ask for Ryan. Tell him what you need and you're on The Ranger Station. Ben sent you. See if they can help you out.

I call my garage and they tell me that they should be able to correct the angle with the ball join sleeve.... i'll try this if it doesn't work i'll need the TTB bracket i supose

that what happen when you want to cheap in part :S I should get the 4'' rough country kit damn

Honestly I'd piece together a lift instead of doing the RC kit IF I was to do it again.

But if you just want cheap and easy. The RC kit is the way to go. Order it straight thru RC in Dyersburg if you do order it.

look what I found while searching around TRS...

if you want to keep a 2" lift... go with this.

if you want more, do the RC 4" lift or spend the coin to piece together one like I did.

If you only did 2 " springs in the front, just get 0-4 degree caster/camber bushings. Two of my trucks are set up like that. No need for axel pivot drop brackets on a 2" lift.

Moog #K80109. Some alignment shops wont have a clue how to set them up but if you are confident in yourself you can easily self align the truck with these bushings. They come with easy to understand instructions and a chart of all the possible settings to align caster and camber.

Or if you can find a shop that will take the time and do it right good luck. Most shops dont take it off the rack until done and then you end up with negative camber once its off. It needs to be aligned, taken off rolled back, and then forward to see the actual camber you are left with. Shops dont do that so it almost always has negative camber because it was overadjusted and you have to adjust it yourself anyway.
