Cooling System Part Identification

Hi all. Found a coolant leak, but have no idea what these parts are called (circled in red, and the adjacent assembly as well).
If someone could give me a name for these that’d be awesome. Also, is there a specific part # for these hoses or do I just get whatever hose?

I’m not sure off the top of my head what exactly they call it, but that thing is a heater core bypass that engages when you have max AC on so you’re not getting heat from the heater core.

I don’t know if it’s available or if the original hoses are available, I’ve used junkyard bypasses and generic hose

Somebody posted a brass valve the other day that was perfect for that. Lemme see if I can find it.

I believe that is the shut off valve for the heater core. Vehicle manufacturers are known to giving their own special names for things, so it may not be called that. You may need to do some digging on Ford Parts or Tasca, looking at the illustrated parts break downs to find the "official" name for the part. Then you can search online for who has them. Rock Auto might even have a listing for it under the HVAC system or heating and cooling. Otherwise, @SenorNoob 's suggestion might be a way to go, though less convenient than controlling the thing via the controls in the cab.

Hey guys, thanks for the info! With the explanations I was able to find the parts on rock auto. I’ve attached a pic for posterity. Not sure if KH640 includes the valve or not. Going to try calling rockauto for clarification tomorrow

If you click on the info button, it opens up another tab with a bigger picture of the part. It does indeed include the valve.

It will also give you information on the warranty and any specification details, if they are warranted.
