Compatible seats??

Hey guys, so I’m new to this site but I just got a 1996 manual 4.0 v6 xlt standard cab 2wd with the long bed. I was searching on the site about what seats are compatible an found some info but not a whole lot on the mustang seat compatibility? My buddy has a 95’ cobra that he said I could have the seats out of because my truck has the 40/60 split bench and it is all torn up an nasty from the previous owners. Just wondering if all mustang seats fit? Or only certain ones? (Don’t want to make the 4 hour drive to get seats if they arnt going to work) if anyone knows if they will fit properly let me know thanks!

More then likely, yes but...

The SN95 Cobra seats came with magnesium seat frames that weren’t available on any other model Mustang. I would assume they are designed similar to the more common Mustang seats, but I can’t be sure.
Your best bet would be to have your buddy send you some pics of the bottom of the seats and see if they will work.
