Cb radio

Is there a specific way to wire in a cb anybody got a forum open for that?

One wire goes to ground, one ground goes to power (either key or battery power) Then run a cable for the antenna.

i would run the antenna cable through one of the cab vents in the back of the wall under the carpet. then use a body mount that holds the antenna up a bit so the signal can skip off the roof of the truck or you are going to lose some strength from half the antenna being blocked.

or run it to the front and use a hood hinge mount

Really depends.

I started out running it off key power. On trail rides it is nice to have the radio working when the key is off so I switched it to battery power. It also picks up less electrical noise going straight to the battery.
