card board inside a driveshaft?? WTH

I was going to say I don't remember if there was a rhyme or reason but both steel and aluminum on newer trucks were pretty common the JY when I was trying to find a driveshaft for my '85.

Pretty much all of them had been kinked from being moved with a payloader though.

Yet another reason why lifted truck works out better. Now the driveshaft isn't too long. LOL!

Plot twist, they went back using carrier bearings again.

Yeah I know. It does have multiple advantages if you can adjust it for altered ride height though. Especially if you like to play in rocks.
