yes you can & if you want more of a lift you could even locate pieces from craigslist sellers & build up a lift kit. Radius arm drop bracket are the same for 2wd & 4wd same with a dropped pitman arm,but the 4wd TTB drop bracket
for the area under the engine is different then the 2wd ,but the bracket that goes on the passenger side will work with 2wd or 4wd if I remember correctly. You can order drop brackets from 4wd headquarters.
My 2wd has 4.5 lift & 2" Daystar leveling bushing kit
Not sure about the 93-97 Rangers, but I do know that at least the 2wd Bronco IIs used a taller coil for the 2wds.
Since BIIs are easier to convert to 4x4 than Rangers, I converted my 2wd BII to 4x4, coils fit right up, had to change the brackets and swap out the dummy t-case for a real one. The stock coils on my 2wd BII looked to be similar to 2" lift coils for a 4x4 of the same vintage.
4-door Explorer coils work out to be roughly a 2" lift coil for a Ranger/BII (and are a heavier spring than 2wd coils often are).
