Trans Fill tube install on a 96 4r55e 4x4

I need help figuring out how to install the transmission fill tube. Which is the little metal tube that goes into the transmission case, and then the dipstick tube goes into it. Did not notice it was missing until I almost had my replacement trans in. Need Help

got it

take a 5/8 crow foot and extensions and run them up behind the motor, and have someone hit it with a large hammer while you make sure it stays aligned. It may also help to put it in the freezer for awhile, I did.
