im working on my 88 stx 4x4 ranger with the high ride option, and the guy I bought it from had over tightend the lock ring nut for the front drive shaft. I was changing wheel bearings and both sides have broke. the local parts stores only cary parts for manuel locking hubs and dealer dosent cary it any more.. closest ive gotten is a 90 auto hub lock nut but the flange is to thick and machined diff. where on earth can I find these parts!!!

u need the cam for auto hubs? or are you talking about the 2 nuts and locking washer for the wheel bearings i got net wheel bearing nuts at autozone for my 89 im talking about the nuts that take the 4 prong socket.

also ur 88 has a dana 28 front axle count the center bolts 12 bolts is a dana28 and 10 is a dana 35 in 90 they used a dana35 i believe thats y its different if i was you i would get the manual hubs and get new bearing nuts cause they had alot of problems with the auto hubs

the two nuts that broks are the 2 3/8 nuts that hold the rotor in place. its a dana 28 as far as the axel goes.

I haven't had any problems out of the auto hubs as of yet and will replace with the maneual when funds permit. im just looking to get it back on the road as of now

well you can find manual hubs easy i dont think they have the auto hub nut try a u pull it around you
