Lmao!!! That's funny sh!t!!!

Seeing as I was having trouble keeping shafts in their normal shape with 36's and 5-760's good luck with that.

Nah bro, got 5" custom toob body lift AND cut fenders
Point I was trying to make was its a stock frontend with half decent ujoints not napa junk shit, the 2.9 doesnt make enough power to break anything.
This is it, 3" body F-150 springs and hacked out fenders, built to go out play not sit home and pay

Care to follow me around for a weekend?

I snapped a couple axels in Bll with a D28 and just 33's I don't see how a D35 could ever hold up to 35's let alone 40's! Wish I woulda took pics but I didn't have a camera phone or a camer back then. Any ways it was always the driver side that snapped. And that was with a stock 2.9

I wasn't breaking axles or u joints with 36's, I was stretching the ears till the U joints no longer fit in them...

I was running a locker up front as well.

37's on a d35 & 8.8 rear, so far I broke ears on rear yoke and exploded a passenger hub. While actually wheeling up rocks.

Sent from the road while ignoring traffic

I have watched 33's destroy the crap ass hubs on the D35 front on two different trucks...

That's why I got the 37780's. Havent had a problem with "light" 35's and an open front carrier since. Im running 5-760X joint with the caps tacked in tho so that would probably be why.

You can keep your D30 joints I will keep running 5-332x's. When I start breaking those locked on 40's I will make sure to post in this thread. Until then you can have a D30 all the way up to a D44 and I would still never trust the axle with 40's.

35" RADIAL tires is the absolute BIGGEST anyone should run on a MODIFIED Dana 35. Im not arguing with you. Nobody in their right mind would run 40's on this light duty axle.

I'd take it down trails but I know it would break then, its a mud slut, its been pounded and still never broke. not trying to be the biggest badass on TRS of all places, just saying I've done it, wheeled it, had a blast.
I did notice though without a suspension lift it has not a lot of travel, I think that puts less stress on it than my 94 with a 6" skyjacker and 35s, that eats hubs and kills ujoints.

You purchased thornturds your opinion is null and void.
