byrons "ranger#1" 4x4 long travel build up

if it cuts steel, what did ya think it would do to skin.......

l8r, John

that is what the teacher says about the boring machine , it spins at high speed and takes steel off cylinder walls , it doesnt care wether it is cutting steel or skin

I've had a cutting wheel bind while I was cutting some angle iron for a flatbed and it just took off, slammed my foot and cut through my boot a little bit, nothing a guard could have done about that except have prevented me from actually cutting the angle iron. Guards are nice though, just sometimes you cant cut things with them on. I have it on whenever possible though for sure!

So where's the pics of the radius arms?

ranger#1 are you using a 110 machine to weld everything?

i have the same lincoln machine but wouldnt dare to weld something that thick with it. i just use it as a sheet metal welder.

i break out the big 220 machine for something that thick.

and your welds look good. maybe slow the feed down a little. and clean the metal a little better, and it would be perfect.

but keep going man. it looks great.
