pics are back , what type of welding are you doing , i suck at identifying welds by the way they look , i can weld , but just dont know what looks like what

yea i just went pro. they had some some kinda deal where i aplied and baught some buisness cards and got photobucket pro for a discount lol its a lot simpler than i make it sound all my welds are mig [real mig] and look like shit =]

The ones on the first page look stitch welded. You can tell cuz of the dot in the middle of each bead when he releases the trigger after each tack. Makes nice looking welds, good for this application. The beams look real good and I like your arm design, can't wait to see the final results!

i think trigger welding is a sad excuse for people that don't know how to control the puddle i was never taught how to weld but trigger welding really does not look like it penetrates very well and definitely not something i would try on suspension pieces

You dont need a sand blaster to prep your weld areas...

I have found that to be the best way to prep weld areas on parts you dont want to take a 4 1/2 inch grinder to or tight spaces.
