hey
i removed the ac/heater from my ranger and have a quick question,
whta kinda serpintine belt do i run since my compressor is removed, i went on pepboys website and they have one, but i wanna now if that is for a ranger with out ac from the factory or if im able to use it. becuase in guessing the brakcet that hold the p/s pump and ac comp bracket might be diff..
thanks

this may be kind of a ghetto answer but why not run some line around all the pulleys then measure it?

a/c bypass pulley i believe

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to just use a no-AC-from-factory belt.

for sure
just wanted to make sure to see if maybe a facotry no ac ranger put the steering pump on a diffrent bracket

if you look under the hood it shows a diagram for both setups.

the only way to be sure is like 97 ranger
said- clothes line sized cord, cut to length
with adjuster at shortest position. take it
with you and check the non-ac belt.
if it isn't right, you can buy one by size.
a round appliance cord would work.
the belt should be a little longer than your
cord.
