Bronkzilla - '79 Bronco

in the wheel well/ floor where it rusted through. see how soft it is

it was pretty soft but i beat all the soft parts off with a welding hammer

now what i would do is cut it as square as possible then wire wheel it to get as much rust of as possible, get the rattle can primer and just put a coat or two on till you do the fab work at least then theres a less chance of it rusting again right away

yea i was going to start grinding all the rist off tonight but i gotta work so i gues ill go at her around 10pm, keep all the ideas coming

yes man well ill be goin back to dads tomorrow where the bronco is and the camera is so ill post the pics then

heres a pic, you cant really tell how much drop is in the bedside but its hanging about 2" lower than the floor and the rest of her:

I wonder if the wheelwell and bed floor from a pickup could be used to fix this, easy to find, just cut out what you need and replace whats bad, I know that the inner box is the same for the pick ups through the 70's 80's and early 90's, might be able to find a box with bad rusted sides and a good inner box if its similar to the bronco
