other than that today i never done much. i welded on that muffler, and i swapped door hinges for a good set, and got the seat bolts out besides for 1 on the rear that i cant get at. im just gonna rape the floor around it to get it out since i am cutting out the whole floor and replacing it anyways.

well i was goin to ya but not anymore, the donor truck didnt work out so im just rebuilding the big block

what is the first thing I should look for on my bronco that might be wrong with the engine? hasnt started in 7 years so Im curious as to what I should do to get it started (also, I have no freaking idea where to bolt the battery cables to on the engine!!!)

And the headers are pretty rusted and need replaced, but I can see if I can bolt them back on

i wouldnt be suprised if it fired right up with some gas poured down the carb. the ground cable bolts to the block just under the alternator

Glad to see SOME follow through on this one. I got sick of reading your build threads that never made it to build status.

Sitting that long, a lot of guys would pull the spark plugs and spray a decent amount of WD-40 in there and let it sit for 24 hours. I would also replace the plugs and wires while you're at it.

It's been a really long time since I've been under the hood of one of these. But the only battery cable that would directly to the engine would be the ground/negative. The positive would go to a solenoid, and then the other side of the solenoid would have another cable going to the starter.

looking bare boggin. youre tempting me to rip my motor out! for a bigger cam of course. and to paint the block.
