Neat job of making your own tray.

If you have to retray another first gen a 87-90 F series battery tray bolts in if you drill a few holes in the truck, big thick heavy galvanized tray that holds a 65 class battery. Just did that to mine a year ago.

I actually had another stock tray in my parts truck. But I wanted one a touch bigger so I can run a deep cycle battery. Plus I just felt like making something lol

Ran into a bit of a fitment issue

The header on the pass side wants to occupy the same space as the top frame rail. I tried to notch it to work. But it needed too much taken out.

So I’m going to cut the collector off the header. And modify it to fit. Waiting on my new metal saw. And mig equipment to get here. Then I’ll tear back into it. Currently working on cleaning the frame up. And making a new instrument panel. I’ll upload pics later when I’m at my PC
