I have noticed that my truck bed is off centered slightly to the left about a quarter inch or so anybody know why this is? Its never been in a crash so i assume it came from the factory this way. Im hoping that when i put my lift on i can move it back where its supposed to be. You have to be looking for it to notice it, but it drives me crazy knowing its like that.:shok:

Is there a body lift? The bed may have been installed wrong after the body lift was done. Next question have you been doing any heavy off roading I've seen bodys shift after heavy wheeling and flexing. Next question Are you the original owner, was the truck in a wreck by the prvious owner the rear fram rails might be tweeked. I know my '87 ranger was like that the truck was t-boned in the passenger rear and the fram rail was higher the bed had been replaced and i had a spacer between the rail and the bed so it wasn't noticable and I had to build a drop braket for the rear bumper. Thr truck drove down the road straight and true so i never worried other wise.

No it has no body lift yet and I'm the second owner. I had a body collision man look at it and he said it didn't appear the truck had ever been wrecked. I really think it came from the factory like this I just hope after I install my body lift I will be able to shift it back in the right position.

Just loosen the bed bolts with a #55 torx (it's either #50 or #55) and give it a nudge. My bed was off an inch when I did my V8 conversion, so I just loosened it up and used a little shoulder action on it.
