Bed is off truck, what should I do?

Gas tank maintenance. Putting a brace across the top of the rear end housing. I used the ole spare tire bar (1983) to make a decent "sway bar" rear diff stiffener and what a difference. That tubing has to be some kind of chrom moly. Mounted on top of the diff mounting U bolts above the leaf springs. OSB flat bed? Have fun- Doug

Now is definitely the time to do full inspection/maintenance to the fuel tank hoses, tubing, wiring, and tank straps. Might be a good idea to replace the in tank fuel pump they always seem to go out with a full tank. I personally would remove and clean up and anti seize any hardware that is accessible to include bumper and brackets. Better to do it standing up rather than laying on your back. Check out all the brake lines may want to replace the soft brake lines as well, again easier to do while standing.

Yup...a little bit of "Depot" time is always a good thing.
