Going to make some kind of truck parts out of these big chain links…

Probably end up running these 78 Ramcharger 15x6 with an LT215/75r15C. Half the cost of 225/70r14s. Keep a set with 7.00-15 LT bias as shown for winter drive tires.

Once the 14” 1992 Outlaw 2 clones are cleaned up, order up a set of the 75k mile treadlife rated General Altimax for non-winter use.

Spent all afternoon reinstalling the red spring, and a half leaf above pack overload. Will try to get pics tomorrow.
Broke a fuel line coming off the pump. Crumbled when I tried using the release tool. Went ahead and cut the other line. Will run efi/ethanol rated short jumper lines and basic NiCop hard lines, probably a 350 Vortec spec screw in fuel filter. The second line was still pressurized after 8 YEARS off the road. Should have just left it alone, changed out the filler neck and said “good enough”.

Am putting frame cleanup on the back burner. Filler, fuel lines, brake hoses. Maybe 1 hard brake line. It takes 10 minutes to pull the bed, solo. Will get back to painting once another truck is back in service. Need a running truck, now…
