BAD Gas in WASHINGTON state? Anyone else?

Anyone else getting a rash of bad gas here in WA state? I know they put in ethanol, but I run premium 92 octane gas and my truck clatters and knocks BADLY now. I"ll put some gas additive in and it goes away, but this is the worst it has been.

I run a chip program so I can use the 92 octane, in fact it is set for 91. The knock is terrible right now.

yeah ive noticed that i thought it was that typical 2.8/2.9 knock/tick but when i looked at my fuel filter it looks dirty and i know it didnt always look like that, it seemed like this has been pretty recently probaly since september but summer the gas seemed fine, im up in PA btw.

I'm running a bone stock 3.slow on 87, and haven't noticed anything down my way (Everett).. If that changes, I'll let y'all know..

We have the crap ethanol here in Florida as well. I have a 4.0 and I run 87 octane and never had any pinging. The truck runs great with 87 octane. My truck is always in great road shape performance wise (tune ups when it needed it and plugs changed some time back and plug wires checked every five months when I do an oil change. I clean the fuel system when service is due and fuel filter when due.

Maybe you have other issues with your performance? You do all the maintenance when it is done....fuel filter/fuel system?
