Baby Blue Beauty Build Thread

What do you plan on running for front coil springs?

That's without any drop brackets? Any one else running that setup?

Wired for offroad lights, now I just need to straighten my bumper brackets so I Have something to mount my lights to, and get a new bulb for my KC

Wow so Spent like 45 minutes getting my truck on the lift at school and took the wheel off. Then my auto teacher come over and looks at it like a bit, and says, OH.....didn't know they pressed them in. Were not gunna be able to do this in a a week.

So long story short i gotta pay a shop 234 bucks to have them do it.

And It will be a while before I can put in my leafs and tone ring

Can you pull the knuckles off in shop class and take the knuckles to a shop to press on the new ball joints? I did mine in the driveway and paid $25 per ball joint to have them pressed

It's more a time issue than anything else. We wouldn't be able to get started for at least 2 weeks then it would be on the lift for at least a week. I'm just gunna drop 230 bucks and have it done in a day

Do you have much tools at home? I did mine in the driveway with basic tools and a few vatozone rentals in a day. The hardest part is pulling the spindle off the knuckle, it rusts on over time. With a soft hammer and liberal amounts of pb blaster and swearing it will come off. I stripped one side, took it to have it pressed, while the new ones were being pressed in, pulled the other side off.
Don't let the job scare ya, it isn't that hard

Honestly after having my truck down for months at a time from last summer through this last winter, I just wanna drop some cash and have it done in a day. Its dosnt ave me very much money to do it myself

Yeah I hear ya there
Good luck with it bud!

Yea, On another note, I took the Hi-lift back to the guy I got it from and ot my money back cause it wasnt working right, and Im just gunna go buy a brand new one for 55 bucks on friday.
