Anyone Use A Camping Cot??

I'm tired of dealing with an air mattress and getting cold in the night when I camp. I was wondering if anyone here uses a camping cot? I was looking at some online but wanted to see what others use or used before I made a decision.

I have a Coleman trailhead cot. It's meh... I'd much rather sleep on an air mattress or even an inflatable pad on the ground. It's just too small unless you are the type of person who simply lays on your back and doesn't move an inch for 8 hours.

We use cots for our whole family. 2 Coleman's for the kids. My wife uses an extra large swiss army cot being she sleeps on her side with knees up around her neck some how haha. I have a twin sized cot that has a built in air mattress. Not sure the brand. I've had it for a while and have had to replace the mattress already. In my opinion it's the best of both worlds. I will have to say it's a lot warmer than sleeping on the ground. But it's more shit you have to haul around haha

We have a 2 person cot tent from cabelas. Folds open in like 5 seconds, boom done. Definitely want some nice padded bedrolls if your gonna try to sleep on your side though. The only other thing is it's kinda large and heavy.. but.. you could sleep through a flood in the thing and stay dry.

That’s not me. I probably get more exercise when I’m sleeping than I do during the day.

A few years back I bought this sleeping pad. It was a game changer. Prior to that I had sworn off tent camping as a back injury prevented me from getting decent sleep on a bed most of the time, not to mention the ground. It is a bit expensive, but it's been worth every penny so far. Definitely not for backpacking though as it's pretty big and heavy, but camping out of a vehicle it works great.

I tried out a Disc-o-bed. It was comfy but very very heavy. Car camping only heavy.

There's something unsettling about wrapping myself in a burrito hanging from a tree that I can't get passed. I mean if I wanted to be eaten by bears I could just climb the fence at the zoo.
