I’m with @85_Ranger4x4 on the sleeping pad. You will need a taller tent for cots and because you are elevated, you now are not insulated underneath. While not as bad as a hammock can be, you will want an insulation layer under you when it’s cooler.
I love my camping hammocks but on cool nights, if you don’t have an under quit you can get cold fast. Even with a good sleeping bag.
If you have a shorter tent, you’ll need to look at a dico cot or something pretty low profile.
But me personally, I would look at investing in a good sleeping pad. Cot or no cot.
