any ranger come with 235/75/15s from the factory

Im curious as to if there was any with that tire size & if so what the original gear ratio would be with a 5spd manual? Also with that set up if it did occure what color was the speedo drive gear for a 3.73.

I recently bought new 235s & im installing a 3.73 rear end & all is behind a 2.3/5 spd, Ford made different speedo gears & each one is different color for different teeth count.

Most rangers from 89 on came with 235/75r15's with various gearing ratios.

My 91 was 235's from the factory with 3.55's 4.0L/a4ld.

I remember seeing a 92' Ranger 4x4 with a 2.3L and 5speed manual that takes 235/75R15 size tires. Its axle ratio was a 4.10.

Right from the sale brochure----gears could really vary from model without regard to tire sized.

I'm guessing maybe you were just a wee tot back in '89?
FWIW, even in '92 yet, and I bought a new Ranger 4x4 that year, 235/75-15's weren't even an option. The only factory tire size option for the 4x4's was 215/75-15, even the STX. A week after I got the truck the factory tires were swapped out for 235 BFG's.
