Have a real nice set of 4 235/15 Goodyear Wranglers stored under the back porch, and the 215/14's on the Ranger (stock suspension) are going to need replacement soon. The chap who does our tire work thinks they may be too big - might foul the wheelwells - and maybe stress stuff in the front end. I'd appreciate any advice, especially from those with 1st hand experience. Would also be grateful for suggestions re alternate sizes...

they'll probably rub up front, but I've seen a 4x2 '91 with 235's that worked fine. if it's a 5 speed first will take more clutch work and 5th will be useless until a higher speed (not to mention your speedometer will be off)

I've steped up to the 235/75/15 Dunlops with no clearance problems whatsoever. With 3.73 gears, o/d is fine unless your hauling a load or diriving hilly terrain. Go with 4.10's and you should be fine.

I have a 93 4x4 with 235 75 15's A/T and no problem with rubbing.
