It is ok if an engine runs rich, but if it runs lean, that's bad. I'd tune it for the lowest octane found in E85 (if thats what you run), otherwise, tune it for 87 octane for DD use...

I don't think that guy knows what he is talking about . It is the % of ethanol your getting that changes but the octane would still be high enough to run max timing for power . But in the winter they add more regular gas to e85 which will make you run rich . Sounds like these cars were tuned on winter e85 and on summer e85 they ran lean .

Actualy e85 has higher octane then 87. I think its around 105 IIRC.

Yeah most of the time. But what Tom was saying is that it is not regulated and can fluctuate causing motor damage. But this is not the thread for this discussion.

Hey I found my stock radius arm bracket if you are interested. Both sides connect in the middle, may be stronger, or it may be in the way

The brackets I have will be connected by a piece of 2x2 tube .
