I thought you were gonna get 25 ply 46" Michelin XML's......:D:thefinger::thefinger:

It's either those or the 42" KM2's....decisions, decisions :icon_confused: :thefinger:

Just get a couple feet of 2" .250 wall DOM and cut up your stock pair. Adding Johnny joints would probably get you in under $200. Go all the way so you dont regret it later!

Might be able to get some 1.5 dom 3/8 wall . Would welding a 3/4 grade 8 cut off bolt in the end work ?

You could always use the 1.5 DOM, and come back as sleeve it with the 2" .250 wall...You know, for overkill :D

It's not necessarily the wall thickness but the diameter that gives it it's strength as well.... I'd hold out for some 2"x.250, I can get it here for approx. $12 a foot and at the most you'll need 8'.

This is true, but you also can't go wrong with almost and inch thick link bars :icon_thumby:

Ya.... you can. The smaller diameter leads to easier bending, and the thicker diameter won't help you there. The whole weight of the truck will be resting on them when you slide over an obstacle, I'd want piece of mind knowing it'll hold up.

greg i have some ruffstuff 1.25 heims sitting on the shelf with weld in bungs. if you need them let me know. we'll work it out later.

I would run the krawlers, but they are a very soft compound, great for trail use, bad for longevity use on the road...

Thanks but I'm going to try the bushings . I got the tube but it is 1.5 with a 5/16 wall so 7/8 bolt slides in real tight . The hole in the bushings is 7/8 so that's all good .

Trying to figure out how to do the arms and make them stout enough . thought about putting the tube on top of the arm and plating the sides with 3/16 that would make the arms 1 7/8 wide .

I like these

But I still say extensions and brace them

Thanks Dustin , I really like the top set .

Here are some pics of what I'm talking about .

Could use a tube on the bottom and top then plate both sides .
And the bolt would need to go in more .

The stock threads on the radius arm are 3/4 .
