I've got a 1995 mazda b2300, i'm not sure if PATS was used in 95.. i don't think so. but about i was sitting in my truck, i turned the key off and then back on and the alarm wouldn't stop going off. i disconnected the battery and came back about 4 hours later and as soon as i reconnected the batter, the horn was blasting in my face again. (key out of ignition) i pulled the horn relay and drove it home, messed with it for a while and couldn't get the theft system to de-activate, the next morning it was perfectly fine and i haven't had a problem since untill today i got backed into (passanger door) and it did it again, as soon as i turned the key off and back on the alarm went off. i have a feeling it has something to do with the passenger door switch because my dome light wouldn't turn off a while ago, but why would the theft system arm in the first place when i never took the keys out the ignition and never locked the doors since i got hit? i mean if somebody could shed some light on this, as far as if 95's had PATS and if it doesn't, how can i bypass the alarm system?
