Nice, looks beefy.

Are you planning on fixing the rocker panel you cut off? Very interesting build. I like turning things into 4 wheel drive that werent to begin with.

It's getting an exocage that will replace the rockers plus I'm going to make the rear wheel wells bigger and incorporate the rear bumper to make the back side of the well. RB

I got a set of rims for her today for $100. They are 15x8 white steel rims and they came with center caps and lug nuts. Tomorrow I'm going to get the tires for her. I'm looking to get a set of 35" claws for $200. I haven't seen them yet but from what I've been told they are in good shape. Can't kick a set of tires and rims for $300. Next week my goal is to finish the front axle so i can trailer it over to the bumper guy's house. RB

Lookin good bro!

I've been very fortunate with this project. I'm feeding 7 mouths at home and have twins due in Feb, so i know all about building on a budget.I'm not an educated man so you get the idea as far as my income goes. This wouldn't be coming together without the grace of God and many people who have either given me stuff or given me deals on stuff. It's kinda like a community rig. I hope to finish it before the twins are born or it might get put on the back burner. So it's a wide open race! RB

After voting I pulled all the bearings out of the front end tonight. Everything was in bad shape. So tomorrow I'll be picking up Carrier and pinion bearings. I've already got spindle bearings and seals. Once I get them I should have everything I need to put the front axle together. Not bad considering I started with an empty housing. I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. RB

sweet work man!! keep it up at this pace and I'll have to be taken a day off work to wander up that and check it out!

Being that my tires are used I thought it would be nice to have some fresh edges on them, so I took a auto glass cold knife and heated it, and the tire went under the knife. What ya think?

Cool, looks like those tires should have some good grip.
