I'm new to the ranger but not to ford trucks. A friend of mine has me doing a whole list of work to his 2000 4x4 ranger with the 4.0. (Shocks fixing back brakes new hub assemblies diff fluid swap fixing the tach etc.) My question is his abs light has been on sence he first bought the truck but there is no noticable problems (that I havent already fixed) the truck has rear wheel abs as far as I know. I think it may be that unservicable cable that's going from the master cylinder to the wiring harness and has an inline fuse. On it it says use replacement kit 9f924. The sensor is on the front of the master cylinder by where the front brakes comes out but the hubs that are in there are the rear wheel abs pulse vacuume lock hubs.

Any guidance tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated
