What do all you ying-yangs use for mounting light pods for ditch lights? I’ve heard of some people running bolt-on brackets intended for XJ’s, and there was one guy making some for Rangers on eBay but I can’t find the listing anymore. Google is no help.. what brackets are decent quality, sit tighter to the body, and bolt on?

I don't think anyone has. I believe I know what you are talking about. Lights on the side of the vehicle for riding on trails at night and not falling in to a ditch or hitting an obstacle. The ones I have seen in use are like these ones that a mounted "flush" to the sheet metal.

Lights like these have been used by drivers on a couple of four wheeling channels I watch on Youtube. They do a lot of driving in the dark. So have a strong interest in these kind of lights. I don't think anyone here is setup that way.

When I finally get my trucks to where I want them for trail riding, I plan on getting lights like these. More because I'm involved in search and rescue and rescue missions don't care what time of day it is on what kind of weather is happening at the moment.
