99 Ranger build

Those are sealed torque arms for a big rig. And they're shot. You need to get rubber bushed arms so you can rebush them when needed.

Use part number 345-610HD and 345-661HD and weld them to the length you need.

the rubber is shot but there still good. I do plan on lengthining them. this one was used on my buddys truggy thats why its so beat. the bronco two gas tank is a good Idea I'll have to check it out.

There IS no "rubber" in that style torque arm. They are a sealed greased bearing. :icon_thumby: I sell these every day lol

there is rubber boots on the outside. Ya they may be sealed bearing but there is "rubber". doen't really matter I have a brand new one. Its for a big rig and I'm puting it on a ranger pickup. I'm sure it will last me a while. I'll let you know if it works out.

I should probably be righting my own biuld thread instead of righting on ford78's thread about mine. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK BUDDY! lol

That's all right. Putting in my rear 5.13 tonight. My buddy is helping install the gears for me sso ill see how long it takes. Decided not to weld the rear end up going to put a spartan locker in . Won't be for a month or so want to break in the gears firstand get my 4 wheel drve working first.

Well couldn't put the gears in, got everthing apart and found out my cross pin destroyed my diff by gomming loose. So now I'm just going to find a spool. Any one now where I can find a spool for a dana 60 at a good price. Needs to be for the 4.10 gearset and down. Because I ordered thick gears.

Randy's ring & pinion or broncograveyard.com

either way you look at it, youre 250 or higher.

No updates. How'd the spool hunt go? Got it ordered yet? Any pic of the diff carnage

Ordered the spool friday from East coast Differentials. Really good people and the best price around that i found. Got the spool for 225.
No pics of the diff, welded it back up and reinstalled it till i get the spool nest week.

Now won't that spool tear up your tires on the road? Or is this strictly a trail rig?

Its not my DD, I only use it when i need a truck to haul something or just to play with.

Read it wrong... I thought you said it was your DD. hope it works out for ya

I have the 3.0 and with the 4.10 it really sucks. Its ok on flat ground but has a hard time pulling hills.
I also have a ford foucus that I drive everyday and the wife has 2 suv that I can also drive so my ranger is toy right now. I do drive it a lot and having it spooled front and rear is not going to bother me. I rather be locked and prepared.
