99 Ranger build

Sounds good. Just picked up a wire wheel and a gallon of degreaser and a friends pressure washer yesterday. Hopefully it stays below 120 degrees today so I can get started

120 degrees! holy sh**! I hope it gets above 70 here.

I wish it could be 70 here lol. It's 105 degrees at midnight. Last week my car said 124 during the day, and that's outside temp

Well Got the rear gears in and the spool. Finished putting the new shock mounts and brake line mount today and been driving it a round ,What a big differnce in made in power and loving the chirping going around corners.

Your stoked! I bet it makes a big difference. Taken it on the freeway yet?

I was thinking of putting a spool in the front end of mine until i get the lockers I want. I'll probably just weld it. wife said I'm not aloud to spend anymore money on the truck till the end of the year... we'll see lol.

The gears did make a big difference. No freeway yet but did do a big truck cruise and show this weekend.
Havent had a chance to try the 4wheel drive out yet to see how it handles with the front spool, still have to get a front drive shaft and maybe redo my tranny crossmember to clear the driveshaft.
Sound like my wife, she doesnt want me to spend anymore on the truck too, but have so many ideas i want to do yet!

Sorry no pics, forgot the camera. was to involved getting the truck all cleaned up and ready to go. But once my buddy updates his site i get some up.

Well spent the day with my boys today , let my oldest train with my .22 for a cople of clip and let him shot his single shot 20ga which he didnt like. Thing kicks harder than my 12ga.

Well this last week the truck has really running like crap, showing no codes. So i looked at the simple sfuff 1st and this is what i found. The exhaust melted the plug wire and was shorting it out.

So on came new wires and got some new plug for the girl.

She runs so much better now.

Do you have any detailed pictures of how your rear brake lines are ran and mounted on the axle? I cut off all factory clips so I have to decide how to mount my new lines and i could use some ideas
