A little bit of body work. I got 90% of it and that's all I'm going to do. It's much better and with some Rustoleum, it will be fine.
This is where I hit a rock, years ago. I previously pushed some of it back out with a prybar. It was definitely worse.

And a quick little indoor project. I had ordered some lighted pushbuttons. Blue for OD On/Off and red for the line lock on my front brakes, which I will rarely need with the automatic transmission. But, I'll keep it for a while. Anyway, I made a panel to put them where the electric t-case shift buttons were.

The color doesn't show well in this picture. But they are vivid blue and red.

Don't try to assume any rhyme or reason to the order of operations around here. Between heat and health issues, I just do whatever I feel like doing on any given day.

Today; figure out how to mount the hydroboost brake master. Thought I was going to have to drill new holes in awkward places. But it turns out that the hydroboost assembly has a removable mounting plate. All I had to do was make a new mounting plate with studs to match the holes in my firewall. It's finished except for welding the studs in place and ordering a different style of locknut to hold it onto the booster. And maybe some paint. Once I weld it, I'll put the whole thing in place and make sure it clears the hood. If it doesn't I might be able to angle it down.

What application is that booster for? I used a 99+SuperDuty and the push rod length was too long and i had to build in the difference at the firewall mount to get the pedal to sit in factory location.

Unfortunately, I don't remember. I know it was an E350 and I think it was early 2000s. I just re-checked with a tape measure. New and old are both 5 1/2" from mounting surface. I lucked up on the exact right one. just need to make sure the hood doesn't smash down on the reservoir.

It's worth it. I have added hydroboost to my crawler Ranger, 89 dually, and my old 86 F150.
