I have a 98 ranger xlt and attempting to replace front shocks but the studs on top are too short. I first tried KYB and they said (exc high rider) and second set was Monroe and still to short to start the nut.
The old OE front shock has a noticeably longer top stud. I have been looking around for info on high rider option. But from what I found a 98 2wd front coil shouldn't be a high rider.Anyone else run into this issue?
I can't even find a shock that says it is for a 98 2wd high rider?
Any help would be appreciated.
