I’m about to do the Rough Country 5 inch lift on my 98 ranger 4wd and it says on the website “must upgrade from 11.25 to 12.1 inch brake rotors for this lift” I’ve looked and looked everywhere I can’t for the life of me find 12.1 inch brake rotors for my truck. Please if anyone knows where to find them or have a link it would help me a lot.

I believe in 04 they switched from the 11 inch rotor to 12 inch rotor. So you just buy rotors for for an 04 thru 11 ranger. My 06 has 12 inch rotors. You probably need the caliper bracket and caliper also.

You might be looking at a trip to the junk yard for the brackets.

They also recommend upgrading the front driveshaft also...

the caliper and bracket stayed the same, the holes on the knuckle are 3/8" farther out. 11.25" pads will fit, I think there are 12" pads that are slightly larger.

12.1" may be the actual spec, but they are listed as 12".

I wasn't sure on the bracket/caliper... thanks for clearing it up.

I looked and didn't see this in the Library... It's your info so if you feel like putting this stuff into a tech article... we can get you an article contributor banner I'm sure.
