98/95 Hybrid front clip

Has anybody ever tried to put the Gen IV headlight/turnsignal into a Gen III?

I know it would involve cutting out the painted portion of the Gen III, but am curious to know if the dimsions are close enough to make it work with the Gen III hood, chrome trim, and fender.

it looks like it may be easier to try a Gen V setup. My biggest concern is the chrome trim above the light on the Gen III and where the fender curves to meet the painted portion under the light.

I have an extra Gen III front end, but does anybody have some Gen IV headlight/Turnsignals (say an extra stock set from your euro light intsall) they would like to donate to aide me in some Ranger research? (Ill pay shipping) I would even be happy with one side maybe even a cracked lense or scratch.

If I am going to swap a whole front end, I want an Edge clip. I dont really like the how there is no color under the grille on the Gen IV, but I do like the how the turn signal is a lot like the older F-series and Gen II Rangers. I want to do something different, and most important, inexpensive.
