hybrid front axle Ford8.8/Dana30

Thin hunks of square tubing. That's my complaint.

oh!!
ok.
you may be right about it. It is a 3mm square tube and in the middle where the springs sit is 6mm. I hope they will hold. If they don't I'll make the same thing with 5mm. no problem.

There's only one thing that worries mε today.
My problem is that when i was making the axle tubes on the lathe i went to the local shop το see what diameter of seals they have for my axle shafts so i can make my tubes in the same inner diameter. They told me that they have seals which are inner 33mm to 35mm (thats my shaft) and 60mm outer diameter. So I did my axle tube 60mm inner.
Yesterday i went to the same shop to buy seals and they told me that they don't have theese numbers.:annoyed::annoyed::annoyed: irresponsible people tells me stupid things:icon_confused::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed:
And no other shop arround here have theese seals
:annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed:
now i have to make a special order from shops in Athens
:annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed:
one day trip :annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed:
yesterday ... i wanted to burn their little shop to the ground... i think that most of you understand me.:annoyed:

I would go off somebodies word on something like this but rather see what they say they have in person.

everything is ready.
and the little hippo is out again.:yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

need some work with the steering shock absorber
need some work with the front axle shafts that i have to make until i order two from RCV.
need some work with the track bar rubber bushing which is worn out

But since it stands on its own feet, the rest is "details":D

Be happy with me :D

Glad you got it running!!! Looks like you had fun in some beautiful countryside. I also like the hippo, both the truck and the door emblem. Keep us updated.

Limit straps will help you with the suspension flexing to far.

how did you make the shafts that you are running in the front now?
