95 ranger dana 30 swap

Ordered two new front leaf springs hoping to have them in next weekend. Gonna wait to do an add a leaf then and fix the shackles too.

Also ordered blue led lights for the cluster

The only downfall to using leafs as you did, is the ride. Buddy of mine has them in his 97 with a dana 30, and rides like junk. Really rough, and he has soft ride springs. Wishes he went with coils now. And since you don't wheel flex really isn't an issue because it's harder to get them to flex compared to coils. But good job though on the swap. Nice welding.

Thanks I don't mind the ride really. Where the shackles are in the back it's not terrible. Not as good as coils but price wise I couldn't beat it. I have always had rough riding vehicles so it's nothing new lol

My ride is pretty good with leafs, and they flex good too. What made my ride worse were the tires.

I have the duratracs and they ride pretty good. I used to have the km2s and man that was like riding in a ox cart with square wheels. By far worse tires I owned

Plan of attack this weekend:
Get new front leaf springs installed they showed up today.
Get rear aal installed and possibly rear lift shackles
Install worm gear in odometer and white gauges as well as the blue LEDs
Fix my steering if my joints show up

Put in my aal and 2.5 inch new front jeep springs still need about 2 inches on the rear

Here in cali we call that the cali lean. You did a pretty sweet job for the budget you did it on. Impressive! I'm diggin those seats... fix those shackles. lol

Bottom of the bumper is at 36 inches

Gonna bring it down one evening this week. Also got the Dom tubing for my steering and material to flip my shackles
