Heyy guys have a 94 ranger 2 wheel drive 3.0 auto trans recently been having problems with trans heating up and leaking fluid from seal where tranny meets block after about 20 miles or so of driving..I believe the water pump is junk also after the same time driving 20 mins it was hot to touch and burnt hand and has a slight wind..Amy ideas how to fix shifts great until hot! Stumped on this thanks guys

It's best if that transmission is leaking take it down new seal all around plus freeze plug kit for the shift forks

Sounds like you need to put new front seal in transmission,,, sounds like water pump is in bad shape also,,, and I would drain and flush radiator too ,, and change themostat as well

Read that wrong yeah would replace the front seal and after put it back in replace the pan gasket.
