88 2.9 swap to 4.0

Get the ECU for whatever you want to use it with. (Sounds like you want a manual..)

So now we have the engine installed and ready to deal with the fuel. The 4.0 requires 55 to 70 psi, according to the 1999 book. So I'm looking for a solution. Thinking I'm going to need to remove my 88 fuel pump and put a 99 sending/fuel pump into the tank. the 99 engine also doesn't have a fuel regulator. So that would mean the sending/pump would also need the built in regulator. Anyone know what part number I need to order and what to do with the 2 fuel connectors on the pump?

Just to add to my other post. the 99 engine is a return less type engine. Which is making it more of a challenge.

What ever come about from this?? I am attempting the same project with a 99 ranger and 86 bronco 2.
